English is a wonderful language. The purpose of it, however, is most often to communicate - not to impress. I am a writer, able to adopt various styles based on need - eg, writing for the media, sharing a story, writing a Chief Executive's speech (including the necessary research up-front), translating technical writing to plain English, drafting contracts, and more.
We write for a particular audience. In a particular context. At a particular time. And using a particular choice of channels. All of these choices matter in crafting the most appropriate communications. Visual communications enhance - and possibly even replace - written communications, where a clear consistency of messaging is essential.
All I need to get going with your story is to know who your audience is going to be, what you want to share with them, when you'll share this and how long you want the message to last, and - most importantly - how you want them to feel (and therefore act) upon reading your communication.
